What is an HBCU? The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, defines an HBCU as: “…any historically black college or university that was established prior to 1964, whose principal mission was, and is, the education of black Americans, and that is accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency or association. I AM HBCU is a clothing line made by gradates of one of those prestigious HBCU's, Grambling State University. The brand focuses on spreading the beauty and pride of our institutions. IAMHBCU is looking for ambassadors across the country to help spread the brand and make money while attending college. Scholarships are a big part of our mission as we aspire to help countless students attend college.
